30 Day Movie Challenge Day 10: Saddest Movie

I don't use the word "masterpiece" a lot when it comes to films, but I genuinely think Grave of the Fireflies qualifies. Quite possibly the saddest movie I've ever seen, it deals with the aftermath of the firebombing of Japan during WWII, as two orphaned children attempt to survive. If you haven't seen it, it is essential viewing.

Jeff,

Your piece is absolutely haunting. I'm extremely drawn to the complete way you've captured Setsuko's and Seita's persona by simple silhouetted body posture.

Setsuko's joy and exuberance over the fireflies and Setia's crushing feeling of dread as he feels their lives slipping away.

Haunting....just Haunting.
