The Evolution of Batman Films Part 7
In 2008, WB released what is arguably not only the best Batman movie ever, but the single best superhero movie ever made: The Dark Knight. Received enthusiastically by fans and critics, many described it as elevating the superhero movie genre. Many other reboots, similar in tone were attempted in the wake of Dark Knight, but none captured the lightning in the bottle that this film did. Anchored by an incredible Joker performance by Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight is a milestone in blockbuster filmmaking.
Jeff Victor studied art/design at the University of Kansas and has worked as an illustrator ever since. Some of his clients include Cartoon Network, Nick Jr. Animation, Warner Bros Animation, ABCMouse, BBC/Create Media, National Geographic Kids, East West Animation, Playstation, HBO, DMS Films/Academy Awards, IFC, Bicycle Casino, K&Company, Hallmark Cards, and Universal Studios: Hollywood.
Jeff recently finished a seven year stint as a designer for Nickelodeon Games and is currently working as a freelance illustrator.
