My friend Matt has been doing some Street Fighter sketches, and he suggested I do my own take on the characters. I also threw in some caricatures...yep, that's lil' George Lucas down there. Heheh...
I had a great time! Here are my pieces I did for the show, followed by a shot of the after party at Citywalk in Hollywood. Yes, I am the guy on the left rocking the fake facial hair. The dude on the right is my friend and super talented artist, Shane Corn. Thanks to everyone that turned out for the show! I appreciate it! Pictures are titled, "Beverly Hills Medusa", "Smog Monster", and "Santa Ana Winds Passing Through".
I almost didn't post this, cause as soon as I finished it, I realized it looked like a Steven Silver drawing. Drat. I'm trying really hard not to do that.
Hey guys! I am participating in the LA MYTH art show this coming weekend! It's a big show, featuring lots of super-talented artists. It will be an amazing night of art, drinking, and a GUARANTEED fight between a Robot Grizzly Bear and a Flying Space Shark. (*editor's note: this is not guaranteed)
The show is in West Hollywood at Meltdown comics on Sat. Feb 7th from 7-? For more info, and a list of artists participating, please go to www. lamyth. com
