The third in my series of unconventional mermaids. This time it's a half eel, half nerdy girl. I am mainly doing these as a way to practice painting in photoshop, a new skill for me. The nice thing is, the more I do of these, the quicker they go...Viva la progress! Hope you like this one...

Imma Bite You

I'm really trying to wrap my head around digital painting. This is I think my 4th attempt at it. I still have a lot to learn.

The subject of the piece is based on the idea that there are many different varieties of mermaids, this one is half shark, half woman, instead of the traditional half fish, half woman. A tip of the hat to my friend Kristen for drawing something that inspired this! :)
